Stay Up to Date on Hospital Trends in Your County

After significant work by our colleagues at the North Central Texas Trauma Regional Advisory Council (NCTTRAC), hospital data is again available on the North Texas COVID Data Viewer! You may recall that changes to the daily hospital submissions initiated by the US Centers for Disease Control and the Department of Health and Human Services paused the daily flow of hospital data for general analytical purposes.

NCTTRAC quickly rebuilt its daily reporting system for emergency management and capacity planning purposes, but the daily flow of analytical data required much effort. That work has been completed, and we have restored hospitalization data to the dashboard. Because of the computational changes required, data is now available back to July 20, 2020, when CDC and HUD initiated the format changes.
